Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Clark County, Ohio. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Full-time, day shift.
