Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Cameron County, Texas. You will be based in a garment export house. The role involves: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits.
