Powder coating technician • Putnam County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Putnam County, Indiana. The job is at an automotive components factory. You will sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Willing to work shifts and overtime Overtime paid at a premium rate.
