Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather The role involves rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $10,500 per project plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts.
