We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Gboko, Benue State. The role involves trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 5+ years on the tools preferred.
