Gas installation technician • Yusufari, Yobe State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Yusufari, Yobe State. Day to day you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
