Argon welding operator wanted in Linn County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Linn County, Oregon. You will work on a structural steel site. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Full-time with occasional weekends.
