Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Madison County, Arkansas. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
