Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Kogi, Kogi State. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks On a typical shift you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays.
