Power press operator wanted in Mitchell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Mitchell County, Iowa. You will be based at an auto components factory. The role involves: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 5+ years on the tools preferred.
