Vacancy available: we are hiring a presser in Sullivan County, New York. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
