Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Comal County, Texas. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing On a typical shift you will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,750 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
