Immediate opening: formwork erector (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork erector in Piatt County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $190 per day, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
