Immediate opening: gas service engineer (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Douglas County, Illinois. The role involves: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration 5+ years on the tools preferred.
