Immediate opening: CNC milling operator (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Fayette County, Illinois. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Your main tasks: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
