Steel erection rigger — Cheyenne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Cheyenne County, Colorado. You will be based at a container port. On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
