Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe fitter in Cedar County, Iowa. The job is in the maintenance team of a facilities company. Requirements: • ITI certificate in plumbing or fitter trade where applicable • Sound knowledge of PPR, CPVC, PVC and GI pipe systems The role involves: • Lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall • Install wash basins, sinks, WCs and flush cisterns • Chase walls and floors for concealed pipework • Solder copper pipe joints and fit compression couplings • Install geysers, water heaters and booster pumps • Make connections to the mains water and sewer lines 6+ years on the tools preferred.
