Port container crane operator wanted in Dickenson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Dickenson County, Virginia. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
