Day-to-day duties: • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair • Carry out oil and filter changes • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid • Replace brake pads, discs and callipers You should have: • Valid driving licence • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
