Panel welder — Izard County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Izard County, Arkansas. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day-to-day duties: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
