Excavator operator wanted in Callahan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in Callahan County, Texas. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control On a typical shift you will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
