Incoming goods inspector — Columbia County

Join our team: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Columbia County, Oregon. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols On a typical shift you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation.
