On a typical shift you will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves.
