Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commis chef in Scott County, Iowa. Requirements: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Day to day you will taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes.
