Immediate opening: we are hiring a site dozer operator in DeKalb County, Alabama. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant On a typical shift you will maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; refuel the machine and record running hours; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil.
