Rigging foreman — Morgan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Morgan County, Alabama. You will work on a high-rise building site. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
