Blocklayer — Lincoln County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Lincoln County, South Dakota. You will work at a residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Rotating shifts. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
