Bricklayer — Linn County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Linn County, Kansas. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
