Bricklayer — Ulster County

Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Ulster County, New York. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
