Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Tama County, Iowa. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Full-time, day shift.
