Finish carpenter — Kosciusko County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Kosciusko County, Indiana. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Your main tasks: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
