Immediate opening: halal butcher (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in Jefferson County, Iowa. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. You will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; season and marinate meat on request. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
