RCC mason — Johnson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a RCC mason in Johnson County, Iowa. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. On a typical shift you will give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
