Crane operator — Grayson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Grayson County, Texas. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts The role involves: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Six days a week, one day off.
