Presser wanted in Halifax County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Halifax County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment On a typical shift you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
