Abattoir worker — Emery County

Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Emery County, Utah. You will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
