Short order cook — Crow Wing County

Join our team: we are hiring a short order cook in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. The job is in a hotel kitchen. You will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
