Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it The role involves: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days Part-time with flexible hours.
