Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Comal County, Texas. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 1+ years on the tools preferred.
