Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Pasco County, Florida. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Your main tasks: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus 1+ years on the tools preferred. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
