Foundry worker — Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Montgomery County, Missouri. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Rotating shifts.
