In-process quality controller • Cortland County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Cortland County, New York. Day to day you will record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
