Fusing press operator wanted in Lackawanna County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a busy laundry. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day-to-day duties: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
