Brick mason — Shinkafi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Shinkafi, Zamfara State. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding You will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer ₦12,500 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
