Presser — Mid Ulster

We are recruiting: we are hiring a presser in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine 1+ years on the tools preferred.
