Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Josephine County, Oregon. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
