Now hiring: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Ouray County, Colorado. On the job you will handle: • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
