Cnc setter-operator — Hood County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Hood County, Texas. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; write and edit G-code programs at the control; load and index turning tools in the turret; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience.
