Structural MIG welder — Union County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Union County, Tennessee. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
