Industrial painter — Robertson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial painter in Robertson County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy decorating firm. Day-to-day duties: • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Own brushes and basic hand tools • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
